It's a hard knock life
Watercolor & pen on paper (15x21)
"I’m not a fan of shopping. But a day in Ullared? That’s my personal nightmare.
For those who’ve never heard of it – Ullared isn’t just a store. It’s… an experience.
Picture a tiny Swedish village with a parking lot the size of an airport. People roll in with suitcases, trailers, even RVs – not for a vacation, but to shop. It’s a store so massive you need a map to navigate it. The checkout lines (I counted 64!) are longer than the wait at the dentist.
And you’ll lose your partner within five minutes – only to find him three hours later in the lighting section,
claiming he was “just popping in to grab some socks.” Sure, the selection is wild – clothes, camping chairs, shampoo, even raincoats for dogs – all at prices that are supposedly too good to be true (and people absolutely believe it). But for someone like me, who’s already looking for the exit after 30 minutes at IKEA,
a day in Ullared feels less like a fun outing and more like a psychological endurance test."
So yeah – this picture? Way too relatable
